The 2021 comes standard with AWD. That’s right. It’s no longer just one of the only minivans to have AWD available, every 2021 Toyota Sienna comes standard with AWD. The change is due to the 2021 Toyota Sienna being powered by an all-new hybrid powertrain. The 2021 drops the old V6 for a 2.5-liter four cylinder/dual electric motor hybrid setup. The new hybrid powertrain produces a combined 243 horsepower while simultaneously boosting the fuel economy. Previous V6 models got 21-combined mpg. The new 2021 Sienna gets 33-combined mpg. That’s an increase of 12 mpg. Numbers like those speak for themselves.

New Design

Not only does the 2021 Sienna feature a new drivetrain and TNGA platform, it has a whole new look to go along with it. It has sleek new lines, complimented by angular headlights and a muscular new grille. The inside sees a similar makeover. Most noticeably is the striking new Bridge Console that seamlessly connects the instrument panel, infotainment system, and center armrest. The functionality and spaciousness that the Bridge Console adds is supplemented by other in-cabin features, such as an onboard vacuum and integrated refrigerator.
