2022 Toyota Corolla vs. 2022 Hyundai Elantra

There is only one engine available for the 2022 Hyundai Elantra: a 2.0L 4-cylinder. It has a respectable amount of power—147 horsepower, to be specific. However, for the 2022 Elantra, this is the only engine available. You are out of luck if you want greater power or efficiency—but not with the 2022 Toyota Corolla! You can choose from three engines in the Toyota Corolla:  

1. The 169-horsepower, 2.0L 4-cylinder engine is recommended for power-hungry drivers.  

2. The 1.8L 4-cylinder engine with VVT-i produces 121 horsepower and is ideal for eco-conscious drivers.  

3. Choose the 1.8L 4-cylinder engine with 139 horsepower to have the best of both worlds.

This advanced cruise control technology maintains a predetermined following speed and distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. As a result, it keeps up with the flow of traffic smoothly. It can even bring you to a halt if necessary. The 2022 Elantra's equivalent system, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, is only available as an option on the highest trim level.
