The coronavirus pandemic has been tough for all of us. For those of us that have been taken ill or are unable to work, it can be downright overwhelming. Especially when the bills start to pile up. Luckily, many companies are doing their best to help their customers. Toyota is on that list of companies.
Here are some of the things Toyota is doing to help their customers that are affected by the COVID-19 virus.
If you’re a current Toyota Financial Services customer, then you are strongly encouraged to log into your account and apply for financial relief. You can apply to get payments deferrals or extensions, even if you’re late on payments due to the coronavirus. There are no standard deferral rates; each solution is tailored to your individual situation. Toyota Financial Services will work with you to get the relief you need.
Current lessees of Toyota vehicles in need of financial aid are encouraged to take the same steps listed above for Toyota owners. If your lease-end has become plagued with uncertainty because of COVID-19, we urge you to contact Toyota Financial Services. You can apply for lease-end extensions or request a vehicle retrieval. Those affected by quarantine or have been otherwise unable to return their vehicle before the maturity date have a 10-day grace period to either return the vehicle or contact Toyota Financial service to organize an alternative plan.
